Frequently Asked Questions

Below you will find answers to the most common questions I receive. If you are looking for any other information do not hesitate to contact me.

I will be happy to answer.

What is your style? How will you work on our wedding?

I describe myself as a documentary wedding photographer. I will be looking for the most significant memories and moments of love, for your and your guests personalities. My aim is to document your day in a thoughtful manner, unobtrusively, quietly without staging. If you want to read about my philosophy and style check Philosophy Page.

Do you take formal group photographs?

Your family and special guests are part of your Big Day. The formals are an important aspect to the occasion, but - they are kept to a minimum.

Which area do you cover?

I live with my family in Killorglin, County Kerry, Republic of Ireland.

I can travel everywhere in Ireland and Internationally to photograph your wedding day.

How do we book?

Simply send me an email to bartek@bwitek.eu or go to the Contact Page and fill out the contact form. I will get back to you as soon as possible to arrange pre-wedding consultation meeting when we can discuss in detail your wedding day.

After you decide to hire me a contract is required along with the retainer to officially book your wedding date. I cannot provisionally hold any dates.

The remainder is due two weeks before your wedding.

Do you work with an assistant?

I am not. I have found that working alone means I am less obvious and can capture more spontaneous moments.

Do you have a backup equipment?

Sure. I am using two cameras and variety of lenses to capture your photographs. This is the one of the best days in your life - it cannot be ruined because of some technical issues.

Are you a member of any photographers association?

Yes. I am the member of WPJA - Wedding Photojournalist Association, [AG]WPJA - Artistic Guild of the Wedding Photojournalist Association, SWPP - Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers, ISPWP - The International Society of Professional Wedding Photographers
