The one you connect with. I can't say I am the one you are looking for but here is a list of the most common questions I receive along with my answers that hopefully make it easier to choose me. If your question isn’t answered below – get in touch, I’d like to hear from you.
Tell us about your experience in Wedding Photography?
Bartek Witek Photography has been established since 2008. I have photographed many weddings in Ireland and across Europe, in the UK, Poland and other international locations.
Are you insured?
Yes. I carry Public Liability and Professional Indemnity. If your venue requires proof of it, please let me know.
Do you have backup equipment?
Absolutely. This is the one of the best days in your life – it cannot be ruined because of some technical issues. I bring backup cameras, lenses and other equipment to all my shoots.
Do you travel for weddings?
Yes, Yes, Yes! I love traveling and discovering new places and exciting locations. Please share with me what you have in mind so I can provide a custom quote. No distance is too far.
Do you work alone?
Yes. From years of experience I feel that by working alone I can attract less attention and blend in with the crowd easily.
Can we give you a list of photographs to be taken?
By all means tell me before hand if there is a special person or something unusual that you have planned, but list of photographs to be taken goes against the style of photography I provide, I am good at. Rest assured I will capture all the important parts of the day and more for you.
What about formal group photographs?
Your family and special guests are part of your Big Day. The formals are an important aspect to the occasion.
How do you feel about guests taking photographs whilst you are working ?
I don’t mind at all as long as they are respectful to the couple and the occasion. I will however want bride and groom alone with me on some stage without anyone looking over my shoulder.
Can we read some testimonials?
Sure. Please go through some of my recent testimonials received from couples and also some wedding professionals I had a pleasure to work with.
How long will we wait to see our photographs?
In the quieter months I aim to have the online gallery ready within 2-4 weeks.
However in the peak months this can take any time from 4 to 16 weeks.
What happens if you are ill and unable to photograph our wedding ?
Thankfully in my 8+ years as a wedding photographer this has never happened.
But if something serious was about to happen I have a network of photography friends working in similar style that would step up if needed.
You have photographed our wedding – what happens next?
Your photographs are downloaded onto the computer hard drive and backup copies are made. After the editing process – all finished high resolution .jpg files are burned to a DVD or copied to a USB drive and prepared for shipping. They are also uploaded to your online password protected gallery for viewing, downloading and print ordering.
If the wedding album is ordered – a draft design can be seen in a separate password protected gallery a week after your photographs were presented online.
From there you will be able to add your feedback and suggestions.
Once approved you will be notified about expected date of delivery.
Can we print our wedding photographs?
Yes, you can take your high-resolution .jpg photos and print them at any photo lab, or you can buy fine art prints from me through your online gallery.
What about wedding albums? Do you offer any?
Sure. I love albums. Printed work always looks great. Fine Art Wedding Albums are available a'la carte and are designed to tell the story of your wedding.
